Our Basic Life Support (BLS) course is a short, half-day session that equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to act effectively in life-threatening emergencies. The course covers the core principles of BLS, with a focus on maintaining airway, breathing, and circulation until professional help arrives.
Perfect for non-first aiders, this course is designed for individuals in low-risk workplaces and at home. No previous first aid experience is required—just a readiness to learn and respond in an emergency.
Course includes
Adult CPR – Learn how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on an unresponsive casualty who is not breathing normally.
Use of an AED – Gain practical experience with an automated external defibrillator (AED), a crucial tool in cardiac arrest emergencies.
Choking Response – Learn how to safely and effectively assist an adult who is choking.
Primary Survey Techniques – Learn how to quickly and safely assess both the scene and the casualty.
Recovery Position – Practice how to place an unresponsive but breathing person in the recovery position.
Basic Emergency Management – Understand what actions to take until emergency services arrive.
A certificate of attendance is provided to each delegate upon completion of the course.
